The Finance and Insurance (F&I) Manager presents credit service options and product protection choices to customers. He or she clearly explains products and services to foster a quick but well-informed closure to a deal.

The ideal candidate for this position has a degree in Finance or a related field and two or more years of finance and insurance experience. In addition, he or she has strong business acumen and sales aptitude, is self-directed by nature, and has exceptional interpersonal and math skills. Effective oral and written skills, good time management skills, and professional dress, speech, and behavior are all required for this position.
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure all necessary paper work is obtained efficiently and correct with each transaction and fully compliant with local, state and federal guidelines
  • Make sure deals are in accounting in a timely manner and are billed before end of day.
  • Maintain Payment In and Payment Out log
  • Log efforts on each deal out after completion
  • Manage a pending and delivered report on a daily basis
  • 100% TO to Finance Assistant Director/Production Manager
  • Manage a pending and delivered report on a daily basis
  • Ensure CSI is at or above group average
  • Educate customers on viewpoint surveys
  • Set and track personal sales goals on a daily, weekly, monthly and yearly basis
  • Review daily monthly and yearly forecasts
  • Maintain F&I; income at acceptable levels
  • Stay current with product knowledge
  • Maintain a competitive attitude and never lose sight of a productive team spirit
  • Be a team player and answer the business office phone
  • Maintain CIT’s to a minimum (preferably zero)
  • Keep office supplied with essential forms to complete each transaction
  • Return all deals back to the Finance Director’s office after completion.
  • Safeguard all customer information
  • Assist when necessary other finance producers with customer’s needs
  • Interface with sales professionals for relationship and training opportunities
  • MPP after sale mailer
  • Must adhere to the MPP Package Sell presentation
  • Other duties may be assigned
QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Two to four year college degree preferred
  • Prior Automotive Finance or Insurance experience required
  • Prior Automotive Sales Management experience a plus
  • Excellent customer service, organizational and negotiation skills
  • Ability to be analytical, problem solve and multi-task
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented and enthusiastic presence in a team environment
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Consistent and stable work history
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Professional appearance and work ethic
