We know what we're doing and we do it well according to our customers. We are now actively recruiting a seasoned Business Development Manager (BDM) for our Elgin, Il office.

The Softweb BDM is a product and services marketing professional responsible to promote Softweb Solutions and its technology development/delivery capabilities to customers of all sizes and industry types. The ideal BDM candidate has a minimum of five years of sales experience in the technology field, strong marketing skills, experience selling custom Mobile Application Development & Web Development services, and exceptional presentation skills. The following is a representative list of the duties and responsibilities associated with this position:

• Prospect for Web & Mobile App development engagements (outside of existing Softweb client base) in mid-market and Enterprise companies across a wide range of industries
• Contact qualified leads by telephone, network, or personally
• Setup meetings with leads to promote and win business
• Achieve agreed-upon targets of lead qualification and revenue generation every month
• Participate in client calls
• Conduct specific campaigns to promote software development and customization services
• Create sales collateral, proposals, RFI/RFP responses and any such marketing materials
• Ensure smooth execution of projects by managing client expectations
• Interact with the offshore development center for proper communication and delivery of the projects
• Perform as an engagement/account manager for all clients of the company
• Act as a fully integrated member of the sales team at all times and to display a positive attitude at all times
 
 
REQUIREMENTS
  A four-year college degree strongly desired
  Demonstrated ability to close sales
  Strong communication, presentation and writing skills
  Demonstrated ability to develop new business opportunities
  Self-motivation and the ability to work in a team environment
  An impressive work-ethic
  Ability to promptly follow up with leads and customers
  Ability to hold yourself accountable and achieve goals with limited direct supervision
  Strong computer and Internet skills (multiple platforms)
  CRM experience a must
