Due to our recent growth, Kauffman Tire is hiring box truck drivers at our distribution center. Job duties include: ·         Delivering items to customers daily (Monday-Friday), within 120 mile radius. ·         Preparing truck for operation by inspecting general condition; checking fluid levels and tire pressure; validating adherence to roadability standards ·         Loading and unloading truck; delivering items in a timely and consistent manner ·         Maintaining safe operation and clean appearance by complying with organization operational policies, procedures and standards, as well as state and local driving rules and regulations Some of the traits, skills and experience desired are:             ·         Driving experience in greater Houston Metro ·         Hard working & dependable ·         Ability to routinely lift 40 to 80 pounds ·         Customer service minded ·         Proficient at loading/unloading & accounting for goods ·         Acceptable MVR, background, DOT physical & drug screen No phone calls or agencies please.  While we would like to respond to every inquiry, the volume of resumes submitted prevents us from doing so; therefore only close matches will be contacted for further consideration.  Kauffman Tire is an equal opportunity employer, dedicated to promoting a culturally diverse and drug-free workplace
