The Department of Psychological Sciences at the University of Indianapolis is seeking a Assistant Professor of Psychology – Statistics and Research Methods (tenure-track) beginning in August 2022, for a 10-month appointment.
We are particularly interested in individuals who can teach statistics and research methods at the undergraduate and graduate level (MS and PsyD), as well as teach and conduct research in one of the following areas: diversity/multiculturalism, health, developmental, or biological psychology. Faculty typically teach 3-4 classes each semester, 1 class over the summer, and supervise thesis and dissertation students. In addition, the successful candidate will have a record of publications in peer-review journals and have an established program of research in one of the areas mentioned above. Additional faculty responsibilities include student advising, and related psychology program and/or University service.
Qualifications: The successful candidate for this position will possess a Ph.D. in psychology from an accredited institution with candidates who are ABD considered with the expectation of degree conferral prior to August, 2022. It is preferred that the successful candidate has demonstrated evidence of effective post-secondary teaching.
