JOB DESCRIPTION

The University of Indianapolis is accepting applications for a Project Coordinator. The Project Coordinator will assist the Director of Strategic Initiatives with the day-to-day operations for two dual credit credentialing programs.  This position will also organize statewide events for 8 CELL initiatives with a primary audience of educators, administrators, community partners, and business leaders. 

This is a hybrid work environment that includes both in-office and remote work availability.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Communicates with participating teachers via email, phone and video calls as needed
  • Assists with preparing data for grant reports
  • Assists with exhibits at various conferences
  • Prepares written materials, electronic documents, and mailings as needed
  • Maintains, tracks, and interprets data in spreadsheets
  • Monitors participant registration and provide advice to participants as needed
  • Assists with planning events and professional development opportunities for educators
  • Manages online registration websites
  • Manages registrations and financial payments
  • Assists with vendor selection and contracting
  • Manages logistics such as room set up, food selection, hotel accommodations, audiovisual needs, etc
  • Serves as lead on-site management for events
  • Leads survey creation
QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate's Degree required; Bachelors Degree preferred
  • Three years of relevant job experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Excel, and Google Suite
  • Proven experience in data management
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Effective time management
  • Active listening, critical thinking, and problem solving
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team
