Your hiring system provides a direct XML feed to several job boards:
- Indeed
- Glassdoor
- SimplyHired
- Google for Jobs
When a position is Posted, it exists in our XML feeds and on your system's Careers page. Applicants can apply on your Careers page immediately, but the job boards must conduct a refresh from their end once every 24-hour cycle; as soon as they initiate a refresh, your postings become visible in their organic search results to candidates. You therefore normally see organic applicant traffic from these job boards within 24-48 hours of posting a new position.
Our platform is classified as an ATS, or Applicant Tracking System. Its primary function is to centralize all of your recruiting efforts into one location and provide flexible pre-screening tools to streamline your applicant processing pipeline from start to finish. Although we offer a direct feed to these job boards to help provide organic exposure and applicant traffic, this is merely a secondary, supplemental feature of the system and not its primary objective. Likewise, the system is not a job board aggregator, so it does not gather outside information from any other sources or job boards. The goal is to use the system as the main hub for all of the recruiting efforts you do normally and is not intended to constitute or replace an entire recruitment strategy.
You can drive traffic to Posted positions in several ways:
- Direct applicants from any recruitment source to your main hiring system URL address where they can review and apply for all currently Posted positions
- Update your company website's Careers or Employment Opportunities page to direct applicants to the hiring system URL address; this can save an additional step for you and also help monitor the total amount of traffic received from this important source
- Use the Instant Ad to generate a unique URL address to direct applicants to specific positions, bypassing all other positions
