The main benefit of the My Positions tab is the ability to compare applicants head-to-head on a per position basis. This provides an objective, consistent pre-screening process and grants greater control of position handling from initial recruitment to Hire.
The My Positions tab displays the Position Title and Status (Posted, Unposted, Paused) of each Assigned template. Any position in the Posted or Paused status can be entered simply by clicking on the position's title - once loaded, this is referred to as the position's "Applicant Queue."
Note: It is possible to enter the Applicant Queue for a Posted/Paused position with zero applicants. It is not possible to enter the Applicant Queue for an Unposted position, as the position is Closed.
Once you open a position and the Applicant Queue is displayed, you can see at a glance how applicants stack up against one another. Hard Skills, Soft Skills and Virtual Interview (if they were added and/or scored), along with the total will give you this comparison among your applicants.
In your "Applicant Queue," you also have the choice of how you would like to see/sort your applicants. There are tabs for All, Active, Hired and Withdrawn. If you would like to take single or group actions, you can check the box to the left of the applicant's name and click the Take Action button and choose what action you would like to take with your applicant(s).
If you click on an applicant, you will be able to see his or her profile. You can view their contact information, any messages that were sent to him/her, what Hard and Soft Skills Questions were answered undesirably, along with scoring the Virtual Interview Questions. From this view, you can also contact references, schedule interviews, hire or reject the applicant.
Note: Accessing applicants via the Talent tab will NOT provide an Applicant Queue. This is because the Talent tab showcases applicants regardless of the position to which they've applied. If you wish to compare applicants head-to-head for the same position, the Applicant Queue is perfect!
