You don’t have to score the Virtual Interview though we encourage you to do so to get the most out of the system. Scoring the Virtual Interview answers will allow you to recall the quality of the applicant’s responses at a glance.
NOTE:
The Virtual Interview™ scores are only for the hiring manager’s reference. These scores are not available to the applicant.
EXAMPLE:
Scoring Virtual Interview answers is not an all or nothing approach. Let’s say you receive four applicants for an open position and you are using Hard Skills and Virtual Interviews on the application. Applicant A scored a 30% on Hard Skills; Applicant B scored a 10% on Hard Skills; Applicant C scored an 87% on Hard Skills and Applicant D scored a 95% on Hard Skills. You don’t need to score each applicant’s Virtual Interview answers because you may have determined that Applicants A and B don’t have the basic skills you are seeking. Therefore, you may elect to Reject applicants A and B but further evaluate and score the Virtual Interviews of Applicants C and D.
