Event Recap: The 2014 UFG World Expo

Posted by Jamie Monahan June 20, 2014

Last month, Team Hyrell headed down to Orlando, Florida to meet with Signarama franchisees and the United Franchise Group at the 2014 UFG World Expo. The theme of this year’s Expo was “The Entrepreneur Experience” and the focus was on the franchisees business operators.

Over the course of the 2 day event, we met with dozens of franchisees from both Signarama and EmbroidMe. Many of their hiring challenges centered on finding qualified employees. They explained how important it is to highlight the franchise brand and their business on a professional level. Plus, they also said that finding time to hire is not in their day-to-day routine. We were very excited to chat with these franchisees and show them that our system will be a huge problem solver when it comes to their hiring and recruiting process.

If you were able to attend the golf event, awards dinner, women in business forum, guest speaker Shep Hyken's talk, open roundtables, the pajama dance party, or the Vendor Expo, you know that The United Franchise Group went above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome. When we were not working hard at the Expo, we had the opportunity to take in the sights and sounds of Orlando’s Walt Disney World and enjoying the wonderful accommodations of Orlando World Center Marriott & Resort.

Overall, we had a blast in Orlando and can’t wait until the 2015 UFG World Expo!
