Feature Friday: Auto Refresh

Posted by Jessica Palmeri October 11, 2013

Do you remember Ron Popeil – American inventor and infomercial master? Over the course of his career, Ron raked in $2 billion in sales from his inventions that capitalized on time saving automation through new kitchen appliances. Ron would often host hour long infomercial specials that would entice viewers to buy the Ronco Rotisserie with his signature phrase: “Set it and forget it!”

Here at Hyrell, we are also big fans of automation. We strive to automate new aspects of the recruiting and hiring process to save you time and energy. And while we can’t apply a “set it and forget it” mentality to every aspect of your day-to-day job, we try to incorporate this idea into as many areas of your work life as possible.

Hyrell’s new Auto Refresh feature is a great example of automation innovation in the hiring and recruiting process.  With the flip of a system settings switch, Hyrell’s Auto Refresh feature allows all posted positions to automatically refresh on internet job boards every 30 days. As a result, your positions will repeatedly be posted to the major internet job boards, thereby increasing visibility and the likelihood of attracting new job applicants.

Now don’t get us wrong. We know that we can’t “set and forget” the hiring and recruiting process completely. You still need to follow up and communicate with applicantsschedule interviews, and ultimately work with your HR team to hire the best people for your open job. But, as you begin to automate more aspects of the process, you can save yourself time and energy and avoid stress!

Ultimately, we feel that Hyrell’s Auto Refresh feature is another great step towards total “set it and forget it” automation in the hiring and recruiting process. To learn more about Auto Refresh, check out our full knowledge base article.
